2012 Be There or Be Square Luncheon

Activate your New Year's resolution by joining the Philadelphia Multicultural Affairs Congress at our annual business luncheon featuring first-hand information on upcoming 2012 multicultural conventions, totaling more than $28 million in economic impact this year. Plus, hear from local influencers and national conference meeting planners on specific opportunities for their conventions.

2012 Hospitality Education Day

MAC hosts its 19th Annual Hospitality Education Day with the Greater Philadelphia Hotel Association and the Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority. This free and invitation only event is geared toward Philadelphia’s future hospitality workforce. It promotes an overview of the variety of hospitality careers throughout the region, career guidance, motivation and first-hand information, to help build a successful career in hospitality and tourism industry.

MAC Global Fusion Festival & Week

For its 6th year, Philly brings the world together again this summer during Global Fusion Week.  This electrifying week of non-stop entertainment, draws diverse communities together to celebrate the “cultural fusion” of the world.  Fusion-inspired events take place across Philadelphia all week, wrapping-up Saturday with a FREE festival featuring big-name performers, ethnic dancers & vendors, and kid's activities! 2012 Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week

Themed "Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow", this event is produced in conjunction with the City of Philadelphia’s week-long celebration of minority-owned businesses, MAC’s annual workshop focuses on creating procurement opportunities and providing education for diverse entrepreneurs and business owners.

MAC’s 18th Annual Recognition Luncheon (MAC 25th Anniversary)

MAC celebrates its 18th Annual Recognition Luncheon by honoring industry and community leaders for their accomplishments in support of MAC’s mission. This annual luncheon is the largest and only gathering of diverse hospitality professionals in the city that are dedicated to increasing Philadelphia’s recognition as a top multicultural tourism and convention city.

2012 Delaware Valley's Most Influential Latinos Awards Reception

MAC and Impacto Latin Newspaper have joined for the sixth year to produce the 2011 Delaware Valley’s Most Influential Latinos publication and award reception. The reception recognizes and celebrates Latino leaders who are making a difference within the public and private sectors, and acknowledges the strengths that Philadelphia’s Hispanic community contributes to an overall diverse City.
